Is FPV drone difficult?

I can tell you about myself, at the beginning of my journey and in the first stage, after deciding to learn to fly FPV drones, I discovered that this field requires serious skill.

For many years, I flew DJI drones, which are very easy to operate compared to FPV drones, and the most significant difference was that DJI drones are programmed with numerous safety mechanisms and use GPS. This allows the pilot to let go of the controls, and the drone will hover in place. They have sensors preventing collisions, options for object tracking, and are generally resilient in challenging weather conditions.

An FPV drone is built completely differently, without GPS, sensors, and the pilot must have control of the drone from takeoff to landing. It requires developing skill and sensitivity in the fingers. Therefore, it is crucial and never to give up on this stage, and it is essential to practice repeatedly on a computer simulator until the brain and hands understand the action.

I trained for 3 months on a computer simulator, I recommend the software of liftoff, experienced frustration, headaches, and despite my progress on the computer, the first time I flew a real FPV drone almost ended in disaster (for the drone).

My goal was to fly a stable, small glider with protected flaps, for safety reasons.
